I have been speaking with a lot of house owners recently about the security in their home. I am trying to acquire some insight on the different ways our homes can be threatened. One of the questions I asked everyone was if they had ever experienced any suspicious actions at their home. A robbery, broken windows, a suspicious person – whatever. I was surprised that almost every single person had at least one story to tell. Many of their experiences eventually led them to buy a home security system. I have been told that Security in Cuyahoga Falls is one of the best options.
One individual told me that he was home for the afternoon one day, but then left to pick his son up from hockey practice. When they returned home about 20 minutes later, one of his windows was shattered and several things were missing inside. He seemed to think he was being watched, and the burglar knew once he left the house. A different mother of 3 explained to me that she answered the door to a person who claimed to be a salesperson. After he finished speaking, he then asked if he could talk it over with her inside the house. She said no thank you, and the man replied by asking if he could still come inside and use her telephone. Considering this man was being so persistent, she declined again and closed the door.
All of us have had our encounters with shady people and situations. Some are worse than others, like the first man’s experience. The information I am getting helps me determine what moves people to buy a security system. The woman said she opted to get one the following day, and that she had ordered from Lake Forest Security.
I have learned about a ton of identical stories from other people. People never truly know what might happen on a certain day. I am sure that these two people did not wake up assuming something abnormal would happen later that day. It definitely highlights the value in being proactive.
